Getting started

Your first hour in Mallin

Sign in, add a call, connect your mailbox, read the brief.

Mallin reads your calls and writes the brief for the next one. This page takes you from signing in to your first brief. It is four steps, and most of the waiting is not yours.

1. Sign in

Go to mallin.io and sign in with Google or with your email address. Your workspace is created as you arrive, so there is nothing to name, pick or configure first.

Under a minute. No card.

2. Get one call in

Mallin needs one real call before it can be useful. Open Add a call, name the company, paste the transcript from a recent call, and say when it happened. That is the whole form.

If your calls are already recorded somewhere, connect Fathom or Fireflies in Settings and integrations instead, and new calls arrive without the paste. If you work in Claude, there is a third way that needs no integration at all: see Getting your calls in.

Writing the brief takes a few minutes. Keep the tab open while it works.

3. Connect your mailbox and calendar

In Settings and integrations, connect Google or Microsoft. The calendar tells Mallin which call is next, and the mailbox lets it write your follow up as a draft.

Mallin never sends anything. Every email waits in your drafts folder for you to read, change and send.

Your connection is yours alone. Nobody else on your team can use it, including an admin.

4. Read the brief

Open Command center. It shows what needs you today, with the brief for your next call at the top. Every claim in it points back at the call it came from, so you can check anything that sounds too confident.

If something in the brief is wrong, say so in the help panel. That is how it gets better.

Where everything lives

Seven places, all reachable from the left of the app.

Place What it is
Command center What needs your attention today.
Deals Every open deal, with its next step.
Find prospects Start from one company you already sell to and get a list of similar ones.
Ask Mallin Ask questions across your whole pipeline.
Team Patterns across your deals rather than one at a time.
Knowledge Plays and traps collected from your own deals.
Add a call Paste a transcript to start or update a deal.

If you set up the workspace for other people

Invite them from Settings, then send them this page. Two things to tell them up front: each person connects their own mailbox, and nothing is shared out of a mailbox into the team view. See Who can see what.

Stuck at any point? The help panel at the bottom right answers questions about where things are, and hands you to Brendan for anything else. He runs support himself and will walk you through it.
