Today, Mallin is live.
This is day one, and the start of something much bigger. Long term, we want Mallin to be the judgment layer a whole revenue team runs on. But we didn't want to lead with a big vision you can't use yet. So we started with the moment that matters most and gets the least help, right before the call.
We call it Pre-Call intelligence.
Here's the problem. Reps spend most of their week on things that aren't selling, up to 70% of it, with less than 30% left for the actual conversation (Salesforce, State of Sales). And most of the AI built for them shows up after the moment that mattered. It records the call, summarizes the meeting, updates a field. Useful, but none of it changes how you walk into the next one.
Pre-Call intelligence does. Give Mallin five fields about a deal and it reads across the account, the people, and the context, works out what's really going on, and hands you a brief before the call: who's in the room, what they care about, the contradiction that decides the deal, and the questions that move it forward. Facts and hypotheses stay clearly marked. Every claim is sourced.
We built it for two people.
The first is the seller who carries the number alone. A founder selling their own product, a rep on a small team, it doesn't matter which. There's no research desk behind them, and the cost of walking in unprepared lands on one person. Pre-Call intelligence gives them the prep an entire revenue org would do, on every deal, before it matters instead of after.
The second is that seller's manager. A manager can't sit in on every call or coach every deal in real time. So instead of guiding each rep in the moment, they set the criteria once: what a real opportunity looks like, who the right persona is, what has to be true before a deal moves forward. Mallin holds every deal to that standard and steers the rep the way the manager would, even when the manager isn't in the room. It puts their judgment in front of the rep when they can't be there themselves.
Something personal before I go. None of this was built alone. Everything I understand about how deals actually get won, I learned from the people who taught me: the managers who sat with me after the losses, the reps who let me listen in on their hardest calls, the ones who told me the real reason a deal slipped when the CRM said something tidier. Mallin is how I pass that on to the next person who has to walk into the call by themselves. To everyone who taught me, thank you.
This is where we start, not where we finish. We're going to build it in the open, right here.
Your first brief is free. Bring a real deal you're working and see what the call looks like when you already know what's driving it.
